I learned today that the Bahamas and the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi to be more precise) have a commonality. They are both touched by the "Tropic of Cancer", a circle of latitude that marks the most northerly position at which the sun may appear directly overhead at its zenith (thanks wikipedia). And this happens only once a year in June. The photo was taken today while we crossed this specific latitude on our trip from Rum Cay to Clarence Town, Long Island. It was a beautiful sail and we decided we could cruise around the world like this! What we may do in the future...With love, from paradise
